Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Freelancio, we aim to create a transparent and fair environment for both freelancers and clients. Since our platform does not collect payments before the completion of work, refunds are not applicable in the traditional sense. However, we have clear guidelines for cancellations and dispute handling to ensure fairness for all parties.

 1. Project Cancellations by Client

1.1 Clients can cancel a project anytime before work begins without any penalty.

1.2 If work has already started, clients must compensate the freelancer for:

       a) The portion of work completed

       b) Any agreed non-refundable costs (e.g., purchased assets)

1.3 No payment will be processed until both parties agree on the final settlement.

2. Project Cancellations by Freelancer

2.1 Freelancers are expected to complete tasks they commit to.

2.2 If a freelancer cannot complete a project, they must notify the client immediately.

2.3 No payment will be processed for incomplete work.

2.4 Repeated cancellations may lead to account suspension.

3. Dispute Resolution

3.1 Both parties should attempt to resolve the matter directly.

3.2 If unresolved, the dispute can be escalated to the platform.

3.3 The platform will review evidence (chat history, deliverables, and agreements) and make a final, binding decision.

4. Refunds

4.1 Since payments are only processed after project completion and client approval, refunds are generally not applicable.

4.2 In rare cases where a payment is processed in error or without approval, the platform will initiate a full refund after investigation.

4.3 The platform fee will be non-refundable.

5. No-Show or Non-Delivery

5.1 If a freelancer fails to deliver work within the agreed timeline and without valid reason:

5.2 The client may cancel the project without any payment obligation.

5.3 If a client fails to respond or provide necessary inputs, the freelancer may request project cancellation.

6. Platform Liability

6.1 The platform is not responsible for losses, missed deadlines, or disputes beyond the agreed project amount.

6.2 We act as a neutral party to mediate and ensure fair outcomes.
